Menus

Creating a new imaginary chain of restaurants, I was tasked with designing new menus for a small food chain known as Den. This chain was based off of Denny’s. I needed to design a brunch and dinner menu for the restaurant. The content was provided but the design choices were my own.

I decided on the yellow and orange because I wanted to capture an early morning and a late afternoon feel. I designed the logo to be like a pen mark. When I think of a small restaurant, I think of the waiters always scribbling down orders. This was the original inspiration for the logo. The rest of the menu designs were based off of a variety of menus. I wanted a modern and simple look to the menus. They needed to be simple enough to read but also look great for the restaurant.
